Composite Bicycle Frame Design

This work aims to the design of a carbon fiber bicycle frame with production technology suitable for piece production. The work summarizes the methods of production of composite frames and important parameters that must be respected when designing the frame. A Gravel frame was chosen for the design. The frame was designed for production using stainless steel printed lugs with glued composite tubes. The proposed solution was strength tested. The work also contains a design of a production jig for the construction of bicycle frames.

Predatory Pricing in Transport Sector: Case Study of the STUDENT AGENCY, s.r.o. Abstract This paper deals with predatory pricing in transport sector. A situation when one company sells its product at a very low price, intending to illegally drive competitors out of the market. Aim of this paper is to discuss mentioned issues in transport sector and to explain methods of solving predatory cases according to the newest guidelines of the European Commission, national competition au- thorities and national courts. Market delineation, dominance determination and predation cost analysis is discussed. Not only theoretical aspect of predatory behaviour and its impact on competition but also a detection of predatory pri- cing by authorities is discussed. Special attention to the specifics of transport sector is given. The core of this paper is an analysis of STUDENT AGENCY, s.r.o. case from year 2008, when mentioned company was accused of predatory pricing on their bus line Praha-Brno. A limited liability company and reforms of its regulation in the legal orders of the Czech Republic and Germany

The thesis concerns the topic of a limited liability company and of reforms of its regulation in the legal orders of the Czech Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany and focuses on the statutory minimum amount of stated capital of a limited liability company. The goal of the study is to explore, using the methods of historical and geografical comparison, whether the statutory regulation of the statutory minimum amount of stated capital of the limited liability company in the Czech and German legal orders will persist or whether the statutory regulation of the amount of stated capital will change, allowing the founders of the company to determine the amount of stated capital individually, depending on the needs of the company. The structure of the chapters reflects the chronological development of the statutory regulations concerned and it also considers the development of the legislation of the European Union. Chapter One is introductory. Chapter Two explains the statutory regulation of a limited liability company in Germany under the Limited Liability Companies Act (GmbHG) of 1892, the subsequent spreading of this form of a commercial company in other legal orders and the efforts of the German legislative body to reform the statutory regulation. Comparison between company´s legal form in term of the expected tax burden

This bachelor thesis deals with the relationship between a company's legal form and its tax optimisation. The goal of this thesis is to answer the question, whether it is more desirable to be a self-employer or a limited liability company in terms of the expected tax burden. The first part handles the theoretical and legislative definition of the mentioned legal forms as well as the definition of personal / corporate income tax and national insurance. The second part of the thesis addresses an analysis of the both legal forms' tax burden and connects the obtained facts using synthesis. It finds out under what circumstances this or another legal form is more advantageous. All information is valid for the year 2010.
